What can you do yourself to prevent flooding?

The climate is changing. We are increasingly faced with heavy rainfall. These showers are also causing more and more flooding. The sewer system cannot handle the large amounts of rainwater, causing streets and gardens to flood. Sometimes so much rain falls in such a short time that necessary measures must be taken to keep the water out. How do you prepare for this? And what measures can you take to limit flooding? Together with the municipalities in our area, we are prioritizing the tackling of problems caused by flooding. However, the government cannot do this alone. Together, we must shoulder the challenges of climate change. Because every drop counts.
