What can you do yourself against flooding?

The climate is changing. We are experiencing more and more heavy rain showers. These showers are also causing more and more flooding. The sewers cannot handle the large amounts of rainwater, causing streets and gardens to flood. Sometimes there is suddenly so much rain in a short time that necessary measures must be taken to keep the water out. How do you prepare for this? And what measures can you take to limit flooding? Together with the municipalities in our area, we prioritize addressing problems caused by flooding. However, the government cannot do this alone. Together we must put our shoulders to the challenges of the changing climate. Because every drop counts.
